Regenerate One Section Without Starting Over
Select a time range in one of your generated tracks, describe the change, and create a new version that preserves the rest of the song.
Repair or Rethink the Part That Needs Attention
Use focused regeneration when most of a song already works and only one performance, lyric, arrangement, or transition needs another version.
Revise Lyrics or Vocal Delivery
Update a line, pronunciation, phrase, or vocal performance while keeping the wider song as the source context.
Repair an Arrangement Moment
Regenerate an awkward transition, weak buildup, crowded passage, instrumental break, or other local musical problem.
Preserve the Rest of the Song
Create a new full-song result built around the replacement instead of regenerating the entire idea from scratch.
Choose a Replacement Range That Can Blend Naturally
The time boundaries, replacement instructions, style, and full lyric context work together to shape the regenerated section and its transitions.
Respect the Time Limits
The end must follow the start, the selected range must be at least 10 seconds, and it cannot exceed half of the original track duration.
Use Precise Time Values
Start and end times support up to two decimal places. Keep the entire selection inside the source track.
Prefer Natural Boundaries
When possible, begin and end near phrase, measure, or section boundaries so the regenerated audio has room to connect with both sides.
Describe the Local Change
Tell the model what should happen inside the selected range: a clearer vocal, revised words, a stronger fill, a smoother transition, or a different instrument.
Keep Style Context Consistent
Reuse or closely match the source track's genre, instruments, vocal character, and production language unless the section should intentionally contrast.
Provide Full Lyrics for Word Changes
When editing vocals, keep the full updated song lyrics and change only the relevant lines so the replacement has surrounding context.
How to Replace a Music Section
Choose the source, define a valid interval, and guide the regenerated passage with focused musical and lyric context.
Select a Source Track
Choose one of your generated music tracks. Its title, style tags, lyrics, and duration will help prepare the edit.
Mark the Replacement Range
Enter start and end times inside the song. Select at least 10 seconds without exceeding 50% of the source duration.
Describe and Generate
Explain the desired local change, review the style and full lyrics, then generate and compare the new version with the source.
Replace Music Section FAQ
Understand source requirements, time limits, lyric editing, and what happens to the original track.
Which tracks can I edit?
Choose a music track generated in your account that still has the provider task and audio identifiers required for section replacement.
How long can the replacement be?
The selected interval must be at least 10 seconds and no longer than 50% of the original track. It must also remain entirely inside the source duration.
What is the difference between instructions, style, and full lyrics?
Instructions describe the local change, style tags define the musical character, and full lyrics provide the complete updated vocal context when words need to change.
Will this overwrite my original song?
No. The source remains unchanged. The operation creates new generated results so you can listen and decide which version works best.
Is a perfectly invisible transition guaranteed?
No. The model is designed to blend the replacement with the surrounding audio, but the result remains generative. Natural boundaries and consistent style guidance usually provide a better starting point.
Keep the Song, Improve the Moment
Choose the passage that needs another take and let V6 regenerate it with the rest of your song as context.
