About this ISRC lookup
What does an ISRC identify?
An ISRC (International Standard Recording Code) identifies a specific recording. It contains 12 characters, made up of letters and digits. A song title alone may match several different recordings.
Why is a song or code missing?
This tool has limited coverage and may not find every recording or ISRC. Missing results do not mean a code was never assigned. For your own release, check your distributor or label’s records.
Does this tool assign a new ISRC?
No. It retrieves existing codes. For a new release, ask your distributor or your national ISRC agency about assigning a code.
